Welcome to Forge & Fume LTD. By using our website and purchasing our products, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully.
1. Company Information
Forge & Fume LTD is registered in the United Kingdom. Our primary business is the sale of candles, including individual and subscription products.
2. Products & Descriptions
All candles are handmade with care. Weight is an average:
Elemental & Alchemy Range: ≥ 290g per candle
Vintage Range: ≥ 240g per candle
Note: The difference in weight is due to container type. Vintage candles are in a lighter tin, giving a larger volume and longer burn time. Slight variations in weight are normal in handmade products.
3. Orders & Payment
By placing an order, you confirm that your details are correct.
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase.
4. Subscriptions
Subscriptions allow recurring delivery of selected candles.
You can manage, pause, or cancel your subscription via your account. You will receive a reminder 5 working days before dispatch.
5. Returns & Refunds
Unused Products: Return for a full refund minus a 10% restocking fee, or swap for a different fragrance in the same range.
Return Process: Contact us at Enquiries@forgeandfume.co.uk within 14 days of receipt. Products must be in original condition and packaging.
Refunds: Processed within 7–14 business days of receiving returned items.
6. Shipping
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
We aim to dispatch promptly but are not responsible for courier delays.
7. Privacy & Data Use
Personal information is used solely for order processing, subscriptions, and communication.
Data Retention:
One-time purchases: retained for 28 days to allow for efficient returns if needed.
Subscription customers: retained for the duration of the subscription.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
8. Limitation of Liability & Legal Scope
Forge & Fume LTD is not liable for damages arising from use not in accordance with warnings/instructions provided with the product.
Includes, but is not limited to, fire damage, injury, or property damage.
Terms are governed by UK law (England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland).
Any legal claims must be brought within UK courts.
9. Candle Warnings & Usage Instructions
For your safety, all candles include:
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
Keep away from children, pets, and flammable materials.
Burn on a stable, heat-resistant surface. Use a coaster or tray to prevent heat damage.
Trim wick to 5mm before each use.
Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Allow wax to cool before moving the candle.
Failure to follow instructions may reduce burn quality, cause accidents, or void liability claims.
10. Intellectual Property
All website content (text, images, logos, designs) is property of Forge & Fume LTD.
Do not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without permission.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions.
Changes are posted here with an updated effective date.
Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
